HOUSING

S.T.E.P by S.T.E.P., Inc. provides a  variety of housing services including Permanent Supportive, Independent with Supports, Semi-Supported, and Emergency and Transitional Housing. S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P., Inc. also offers linkage and navigation services as well as housing case management to help connect individuals with services and supports that are available to them as they better their quality of life.

Our staff is fully committed to our mission, providing professional peer services that are person centered, trauma informed, and non-judgmental with a "do with" vs. a "do for" mindset. Our services are utilized in our two community living semi-supported apartment sites as well as our Permanent Supportive Housing site. 

SBS staff all have lived experience and are role models of hope and recovery. Our housing programs follow a housing first today, treats all tenants equally, and allows tenants ownership in their environment through Tenant Councils and Planning Committees. This approach has led our tenants to be very successful in staying housed and also preparing them to move on to live in the community of their choice by giving them time to develop the skills to be able to do so if they choose.
